SHARK KILLS WOMAN IN SOUTH AFRICA

JOHANNESBURG, OCTOBER 20 /SRNA–Reuters/ - A woman has died after being attacked by a shark while swimming near the city of Gqeberha in South Africa, local authorities said.

The tragedy occurred in the Eastern Cape province, public broadcaster SABC reported.

Municipal authorities said the woman was attacked by a shark at Orient Beach.

Orient Beach and nearby Eastern Beach have been closed until further notice.
