BANJA LUKA, MARCH 20 /SRNA/ - The Speaker of the Montenegrin Parliament Andrija Mandić stated that it is necessary for political organizations from Montenegro, Republika Srpska, and Serbia to maintain good communication and work together for the benefit of the Serbian people, wherever they live.
"The borders that have been established are not an obstacle to our cultural, spiritual, or any other identity that characterizes the Serbian people," Mandić told reporters in Banja Luka after a meeting with SNSD President Milorad Dodik.
He pointed out the importance of frequent communication among political representatives of the Serbian people in Montenegro, Republika Srpska, and Serbia, as well as the exchange of information.
"I informed Dodik about the progress Montenegro has made on its path toward the European Union. All countries where the Serbian people live are committed to the European path and becoming part of the Union. Due to various circumstances, Montenegro has advanced the furthest on that path," Mandić stated.
He emphasized that the party he leads, New Serbian Democracy, is the strongest Serbian party in Montenegro and that it is a sister party to SNSD.
Mandić added that today's meeting in Banja Luka is part of regular activities and expressed hope that Dodik will soon visit Montenegro.
