LARGE NUMBER OF PRIJEDOR RESIDENTS TRAVEL TO GENERAL MLADIĆ'S FUNERAL

PRIJEDOR, SEPTEMBER 7 /SRNA/ - A large number of residents of Prijedor traveled to Belgrade to pay their respects to former commander of the Main Staff of the Army of Republika Srpska General Ratko Mladić and attend his funeral, President of the Prijedor Veterans' Organization Vojislav Kondić told SRNA.

He said that three buses and around 100 passenger cars set off for Belgrade in an organized convoy during the night.

The coffin containing General Mladić's body is on display at the Church of St. Luke in the Vidikovac neighborhood of Belgrade, where a memorial service will be held at noon.

General Mladić will be buried with the highest military honors at 13:30 at Topčider Cemetery.
