BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 29 /SRNA/ - There is no cause for public concern over the threatening message sent to the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, as the Ministry of the Interior is handling all security issues very professionally, said Velibor Lalić, a professor at the Faculty of Security Sciences at the University of Banja Luka.
Lalić said he had confidence in the institutions of Republika Srpska and the Ministry of the Interior.
"I believe that the Ministry of the Interior is handling all security issues, including terrorism, in a highly professional manner," Lalić told reporters in Banja Luka.
A threatening message was sent by email yesterday to the registry office of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, calling for the killing of all baptized people and the collection of money and weapons for the Islamic State, invoking jihad.
The message also contains a number of other unrelated demands, and its author identifies himself as a member of "jihad in BiH".
The Service of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska said the message had been forwarded to the relevant bodies of the Ministry of the Interior for further action.
