KOVAČEVIĆ: OPPOSITION CHOOSES TO FOLLOW CHRISTIAN SCHMIDT'S WILL INSTEAD OF PEOPLE'S WILL

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 24 /SRNA/ - Radovan Kovačević, a Serb member of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, met today at the Palace of the Republic in Banja Luka with students of international relations and security from Hungary to discuss the current constitutional and political crisis in BiH.

"Republika Srpska is a party to the Dayton Agreement and a signatory of the BiH Constitution, yet we are a target of an unconstitutional attack by unelected foreigners and so-called judicial institutions that do not exist in the Constitution," Kovačević wrote on X.

Kovačević, who is also the SNSD spokesman, said he attended a session of the SNSD Caucus in the Republika Srpska National Assembly today.

"The opposition chose to follow Christian Schmidt’s will instead of the will of the people. That is why they destroyed unity and began creating institutional chaos in Republika Srpska. We will not allow it," Kovačević said.
