KOVAČEVIĆ: BAM 7.5 BILLION INVESTMENT CYCLE SHOWS STRENGTH OF SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 21 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska is constantly progressing and is strong enough to allocate an additional BAM 7.5 billion for investments, on top of all regular expenditures, Serb delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Radovan Kovačević said.

"When we talk about the investment cycle, it is clear that Srpska is strong enough and has the capacity, in addition to all regular expenditures, to allocate another BAM 7.5 billion for investment and development. This means better living conditions for every person," Kovačević told RTRS.

He said it was also very important that Savo Minić is the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska.

"Some say they would introduce a 13th pension in Srpska. This would mean that someone receiving a pension of BAM 500 or 700 would see an 8.33 percent increase. Do you know how much pensions have increased since Minić took over as head of the Government? They have increased by 14 percent. So, this sounds attractive, but it is almost twice as small an increase as the one Minić secured in one year," Kovačević added.

He said that Republika Srpska provides significantly more than the Federation of BiH /FBiH/ for all categories.

"It is significant that we have paid an increased veterans' allowance, for which BAM 51 million was allocated. If we were to measure the significance of what the veterans of Srpska gave us, they gave us pride, they gave us Srpska, our symbols. If we gave our veterans the entire budget, it would be little for what they gave for Srpska," Kovačević added.
