KARAN: MAY THE NEW YEAR BRING PROGRESS AND PROSPERITY

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 13 /SRNA/ - Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska Siniša Karan extended congratulations to all citizens of the Republika Srpska on the Orthodox New Year 2026, wishing them good health and happiness as they welcome it surrounded by their loved ones.

Karan wished all citizens of the Republika Srpska that the Orthodox New Year bring progress and prosperity, and that it be a year of stability and prosperity.

"Happy and blessed New Year," Minister Karan said.

The Serbian, Russian and Georgian Orthodox Churches, Mount Athos and the Jerusalem Patriarchate, which observe the Julian calendar, will welcome the New Year at midnight.
