KARAN: DODIK AND PUTIN CREATED CONDITIONS FOR COOPERATION BETWEEN TWO COUNTRIES IN ALL AREAS

MOSCOW, MAY 8 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Siniša Karan has stated today in Moscow that the strength of the good cooperation between the Russian Federation and Republika Srpska, in addition to the historical and cultural ties between the two Orthodox peoples, is based on exceptionally strong partnership relations.

"For all these years since the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, Republika Srpska has sought partnership and equal relations with everyone, not relations of domination, sanctions, and punishment," Karan emphasized.

According to him, policies in a multipolar world must be policies of equality and sovereignty for all peoples and all states.

"The world of globalist forces that imposed their ideologies and values is collapsing. The new world, whose foundations are being laid by the Russian Federation, is a world of equality, tolerance, and mutual cooperation," Karan told media outlets from Republika Srpska.

Karan says that Russia - Republika Srpska friendly relations are a prerequisite for all other relations, primarily diplomatic and political, but also economic ones.

"In previous years, Presidents Vladimir Putin and Milorad Dodik created the foundations that today are materializing these relations in all spheres of life," Karan stressed.

The Republika Srpska Government, Karan recalled, has signed dozens of agreements with institutions of the Russian Federation, which are in the implementation phase in almost every sector.

"When we speak about macroeconomics, Russian capital ranks third in Republika Srpska, with investments exceeding BAM 700 million," Karan emphasized, adding that there is not a single area in which Russia and Republika Srpska do not cooperate.

He added that there is particularly strong cooperation in the field of energy, mentioning major projects in the Republika Srpska Railways related to electrification.

"There is also the field of gas infrastructure, where we can certainly accomplish much more in the future. Special progress has been made in creating and strengthening our identity through education, language, culture, as well as science, technology, and innovation," Karan stated.

Karan stressed that a broad spectrum of cooperation has also been achieved in the areas of security and civil protection.
