KARAN: DEATH OF LIEUTENANT SIVAC LOSS FOR ENTIRE SERB PEOPLE

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 4 /SRNA/– Republika Srpska President Siniša Karan expressed his condolences following the death of Republika Srpska Army Lieutenant Goran Sivac, stressing that his passing represents a great loss for his family and friends, as well as for Republika Srpska and the Serb people in general.

"I am deeply saddened by the tragic news of the death of Republika Srpska Army Lieutenant Goran Sivac," Karan said.

Karan stressed that Lieutenant Sivac will be remembered as an exceptional man, a brave and honourable officer, and a devoted patriot who made a significant contribution during the most difficult moments in the creation of Republika Srpska.

"On behalf of the citizens of Republika Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend to you my deepest condolences," reads the message of condolence sent by the Republika Srpska president to the Sivac family.

Former Republika Srpska Army Lieutenant Goran Sivac passed away at the age of 66 following a long and serious illness.
