ĐURIĆ: KRALJEVO NASELJE STRONG DRIVER OF MUNICIPALITY'S DEVELOPMENT

HAN PIJESAK, NOVEMBER 4 /SRNA/ – The construction of Kraljevo Naselje will represent a significant step forward in the tourism and economic development of Han Pijesak, creating new opportunities for investment and employment and positioning the municipality as an attractive tourist destination, Mayor Slobodan Đurić told SRNA.

Đurić said the project could become a strong driver of development and a new opportunity for the future of Han Pijesak.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the spring, as he said, adding that the planned tourist resort, featuring holiday homes and the necessary infrastructure, will cover an area of 57.4 hectares.

"The project envisages 207 houses, sports grounds, cycling and walking trails, hotels, motels and restaurants," Đurić explained.

He said the total value of the project was BAM 70 million.

Đurić pointed out that Kraljevo Naselje was also planned to be connected to the Igrišta Ski Centre by a gondola lift.

"With the construction of the gondola lift, the value of the project will exceed BAM 100 million," Đurić emphasized, adding that this was the largest investment in the municipality of Han Pijesak in the past 50 years.

Đurić said that the 2026 Han Pijesak municipal budget amounted to BAM 13,825,200.

"The budget revision is scheduled in seven days, bringing the total budget to BAM 16,010,000," Đurić concluded.
