JUDICIARY OF BiH TO OVERTURN CONVICTION AGAINST DODIK AFTER INTERPOL'S REJECTION OF THE WARRANT

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 2 /SRNA/ - By rejecting the international warrant against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and the Speaker of the National Assembly Nenad Stevandić from Interpol, the judiciary at the BiH level should learn a lesson and cancel the non-final verdict against President Dodik, defense attorney for the President of Srpska, lawyer Goran Bubić, told SRNA.

Bubić said that this would somewhat restore public confidence in the Court of BiH.

"Constitutional convalidation of the judiciary at the BiH level would be more realistic. And probably also an agreement between entity representatives in order to overcome the current political and constitutional crisis on the basis of the Constitution of BiH," said Bubić.

The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik pointed out that he received information that Interpol rejected the request of the Court of BiH to issue a red warrant for him and the Speaker of the Srpska National Assembly Nenad Stevandić.
