IT'S GREAT THING THAT TRUTH ABOUT SUFFERING OF SERB PEOPLE HAS REACHED US CONGRESS

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 22 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said that it is a major and important development when the truth about the suffering of the Serb people reaches the US Congress, one of the world’s most important political centres.

Minić thanked the Republika Srpska Memorial Centre and its director, Denis Bojić, for their dedicated work, as well as Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, whose persistent diplomatic efforts are helping ensure that the Serb voice is heard where important decisions affecting the world are made.

“Our victims deserve the truth, respect and a place in the world’s collective memory,” Minić wrote on X.

The Republika Srpska Memorial Centre presented an exhibition titled Learn about the Suffering of the Serb People at the US Congress, featuring documents, testimonies and historical facts about the suffering of the Serb people throughout the 20th century.

The exhibition was also visited by Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, who stressed the significance of the fact that it was presented at the US Congress, as this gives visitors, as well as members of Congress, an opportunity to learn more about the history and the suffering of the Serb people.
