ISRAELI ANALYST: PRESIDENT DODIK - EUROPEAN POLITICIAN WHO STANDS UP FOR ISRAEL

TEL AVIV, SEPTEMBER 27 /SRNA/ - In a lengthy interview recently given to the YouTube channel of American host Wayne Allyn Root, President Milorad Dodik set out in detail a political doctrine based on unwavering support for Israel, strong sympathy for US President Donald Trump and openly expressed, reasoned contempt for the Joe Biden administration, the EU and the idea of enforced coexistence in the Balkans, Israeli geopolitical analyst and journalist Eli Leon said.

"Dodik is not content with general and superficial statements of support. He sees the relationship between the Serb and Jewish peoples as a deep historical partnership in destiny, forged in blood. In the interview published on Root's channel, Dodik said that 'it is a brotherhood through suffering that I absorbed from birth.' He explicitly mentioned the Jasenovac death camp, where Croatian fascists killed tens of thousands of Serbs and Jews during World War II," Leon wrote in an analysis for Mako, one of Israel's largest and best-known online portals.

Leon noted that Dodik said in the interview that anyone who slaughters Jewish children should expect a decisive response, and that everything Israel has done since October 7 is fully justified.

Leon said Dodik did not hesitate to criticize Muslims in BiH, who, according to Dodik, had operated under Nazi protection at the time in order to "round up as many Serbs and Jews as possible and send them to death camps."

"This historical connection, Dodik explained to Root, was what motivated him to act in Israel's favor on the diplomatic and international stage as well. He revealed how, in 2008 or 2009, while serving as prime minister, he used his political influence within BiH-level institutions to block recognition of a Palestinian state at the UN Security Council," Leon wrote.

The Israeli analyst and journalist also quoted Dodik as saying that, thanks to him, BiH abstained in the vote and Palestine was not recognized, adding that no one knew what might have happened had local Muslims obtained weapons and a sovereign state.

Leon noted that Dodik compared what he described as the illusion of coexistence with Palestinians to the illusion of the Dayton Peace Accords, which, he said, forced Serbs, Muslims and Croats to live together within a single framework from the globalist perspective of US politicians.

The second part of the interview, Leon wrote, focused on Dodik's strained relations with the West, particularly with the Biden administration, which imposed severe sanctions on him.

"Dodik claims he was personally persecuted because of his public support for Trump, who, in his words, is fighting a corrupt establishment. Dodik said the Biden administration made their lives miserable, freezing his bank accounts to the point that he could not receive his salary through a regular bank account, so a postal worker had to bring him cash to his home as in the old days," Leon wrote.

He added that Trump's return to the political stage represents, for Dodik, "new hope for the entire world," in contrast to Democratic policies which, according to him, threaten national identities.
