BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 14 /SRNA/ – The President of the Republika Srpska Organization of Families of Captured and Fallen Soldiers and Missing Civilians, Isidora Graorac, stated that tomorrow will be marked with dignity as the day when Republika Srpska remembers all those who laid down their lives in its foundations, as well as the missing, whose remains have unfortunately been searched for over 30 years.
"We will remember more than 24,000 who gave their lives for Srpska, as well as 1,616 individuals who are still listed as missing," Graorac told SRNA on the occasion of tomorrow’s commemoration of the Day of the Missing and Fallen in the Defensive-Patriotic War of Republika Srpska.
She emphasized that the families gathered by this organization feel this day as their own.
"That is why we will make every effort to mark our grief and sorrow with dignity, along with pride that our fathers, sons, and brothers wove their lives into the foundations of Republika Srpska," Graorac said.
The Day of the Missing and Fallen in the Defensive-Patriotic War of Republika Srpska will be commemorated tomorrow throughout Srpska, while in Banja Luka a memorial service will be held in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior for the fallen and murdered soldiers and civilians.
