GOLDEN PLAQUE AWARDED TO SRNA

PALE, MAY 21 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska News Agency /SRNA/ today received the Golden Plaque of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Istočno Sarajevo University for exceptional cooperation and contribution to the development and international promotion of this higher education institution.

The recognition was awarded on the occasion of the Faculty's Day and patron saint's day - St. John the Theologian.

Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy Vladan Bartula said that the Faculty highly values SRNA's contribution to the development of the institution, the University of Istočno Sarajevo and Republika Srpska as a whole.

The plaque was also awarded to Republika Srpska Interior Minister Željko Budimir, and was accepted on his behalf by Istočno Sarajevo Police Administration Chief Branimir Šehovac.

Plaques for merit were also awarded to Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the Istočno Sarajevo University Dejan Bokonjić, the British Embassy in BiH, and other deserving individuals and institutions.
