FLYNN: GOLD INSTITUTE PART OF GLOBAL SOLUTIONS, CARRYING SIGNIFICANT WEIGHT

BANJA LUKA, MAY 27 /SRNA/ - Former US national security adviser General Michael Flynn said that representatives of the Gold Institute for International Strategy are part of the solution, that the voices of the people who came to Banja Luka matter greatly and that they have significant influence.

Flynn called on participants of the European Summit in Banja Luka to use the gathering to make an impact both personally and within their communities.

"Use this time you have in Banja Luka to make an impact", Flynn said at a reception ahead of the opening of the event.

He thanked Republika Srpska President Siniša Karan for the hospitality and assessed that his presence "reflects leadership that matters and that reflects a different future".

Flynn said it had not been easy to organize such an event in Banja Luka, given that experts from across Europe, the United States and other parts of the world had gathered there.

Describing the Gold Institute for International Strategy, Flynn said it is an organization that "has influence" and currently includes around 40 associates from around the world.

"All of us at the Gold Institute for International Strategy recognize that we are part of the solution. Our voices, especially those of the people we brought here, carry great weight. We have significant influence", Flynn said.

He then introduced several associates from the institute, including Eli Gold, whom he described as a person of high integrity, and Gary Raybon, whom he called "a great patriot and a great businessman from the United States".

Among others, he also introduced Rob Roos, who will serve as one of the main contacts for the Gold Institute in Europe.

Flynn said that people should not pay attention to the media because they "will always try to diminish everything".

The reception was attended by the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, Serb delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Radovan Kovačević, President of the Gold Institute for International Strategy Eli Gold and President of the Gold Institute Jana Lončar.

More than 100 participants from over 20 countries are expected at tomorrow's European Summit on Economy and Security in Banja Luka, including prominent figures from the worlds of business, security, diplomacy and politics.
