"In this way, the implementation of a multi-year research project has begun, the goal of which is, through a larger number of volumes containing published primary historical sources, to present, in a systematic, clear and scientifically grounded manner, as complete a documentary picture as possible of the genocide carried out by the Independent State of Croatia /NDH/ against the Serb people in the territory of BiH during World War II," the University of Istočno Sarajevo stated on its website.
By implementing this large and exceptionally important project for Serbian historiography and the culture of remembrance, the Institute of Historical Sciences of the University of Istočno Sarajevo aims to ensure that the truth about the genocide against the Serb people during the Second World War reaches not only researchers of the past but also a wider readership.
