BIJELJINA, APRIL 8 /SRNA/ – The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić said that the immense sacrifice of Serb fighters obliges everyone to preserve Republika Srpska.

Minić noted that Serb soldiers are most deserving for the freedom we live in today and that their sacrifice must be remembered with pride.

"In Bijeljina, the Central Memorial is dedicated to 1,080 fallen fighters from Semberija and Majevica. Their sacrifice obliges us to protect Republika Srpska and never forget those who created it," Minić stated on X.

He added that new legal regulations, which will soon be presented to members of parliament, must ensure a dignified life for veterans.

Prime Minister Minić began his visit to Bijeljina today by laying a wreath at the central monument to the defenders and paying tribute to fallen fighters of the Defensive-Homeland War.

Wreaths were also laid by the Minister of Labor and Veterans' and Disability Protection Radan Ostojić and the Minister of Transport and Communications Zoran Stevanović.
