BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 27 /SRNA/ – SNSD Laeder Milorad Dodik will head a delegation from Republika Srpska to Moscow in late September, where it will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, it was confirmed today at Dodik’s meeting with Russian Ambassador to BiH Igor Kalabukhov.
"I held talks today with Russian Ambassador to BiH Igor Kalabukhov about our mutual relations and stressed that we support Russia in its efforts to uphold its state and national values. We believe that Russia is waging a just, defensive war, and it is obvious that this is not a war between Ukraine and Russia, but a war between part of the EU and Russia," Dodik posted on X.
Dodik expressed his belief that Russia would not be as naive as it was during the process of the dissolution of the Soviet Union, when it gave Ukraine territories that had traditionally belonged to Russia.
He said he also discussed economic issues and opportunities to improve cooperation under difficult circumstances with Kalabukhov.
"It is particularly important that, despite the existing challenges, we find ways to preserve and strengthen economic ties and cooperation of mutual interest. We confirmed that I will head a Republika Srpska delegation to Moscow in late September, where we will meet with President Vladimir Putin and continue the talks we held in May during my visit to Moscow," Dodik stressed.
