DODIK: SUPPORT FOR EUFOR MISSION – IT HAS NOT OVERSTEPPED ITS MANDATE

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 5 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said at a Government thematic session that the mandate of EUFOR in BiH should be supported, but if any overstepping of authority occurs, this mission should be rejected.

"We are satisfied with EUFOR and its mandate, despite the various challenges that may be heard," said Dodik.

He emphasized that EUFOR has remained within its mandate and has not violated it.

"If any overstepping of authority occurs, the EUFOR mission should be rejected, and we must continue fighting for the further security position of Srpska, which can be guaranteed by the guarantors of the Dayton Peace Agreement," said Dodik.

He said that one of today's conclusions must also be that Srpska will withdraw and will not accept any justifications regarding the European path for laws that are not in accordance with the Constitution of BiH.

"It is no longer possible to continue with the narrative that the Constitution should be undermined to create laws that will have to be changed in a few years anyway, while we lose constitutional potential in Srpska," said Dodik.
