DODIK: SRPSKA DID NOT CREATE THE CONSTITUTIONAL-LEGAL CRISIS IN BiH

DOBOJ, MAY 14 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated today in Doboj that Republika Srpska did not create the constitutional-legal crisis in BiH, but merely responded to attempts to undermine its constitutional capacity.

Dodik said that the crisis was caused by the unconstitutional Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, as well as by the support that Christian Schmidt, whom he called a false high representative, receives from the Bosniaks.

He added that it is important to engage in dialogue, not impose dictates, which, according to him, is currently the practice in BiH and is being pushed through institutional mechanisms.

"A foreigner is intervening in the laws, while the most important institutions in BiH remain silent on violations of rights," Dodik said at a press conference following a meeting of parliamentary party representatives convened by him.

He stated that dialogue is also the recommendation of the UN Security Council, along with respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of BiH.
