DODIK: SERBS AND JEWS KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO DEFEND THE RIGHT TO SURVIVAL

JERUSALEM, JANUARY 29 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik emphasized that his meeting today in Jerusalem with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar is yet another confirmation of the sincere friendship between Republika Srpska and Israel, adding that the Serbian and Jewish peoples understand each other because they know how dearly freedom was paid for and how important it is to defend the right to survival.

“We discussed the security challenges facing our peoples, as well as the need to preserve the truth about history and suffering from being forgotten or misused,” Dodik posted on “X.”

He added that during the meeting they jointly emphasized the importance of combating anti-Semitism and all forms of extremism that threaten the peace and freedom of peoples.

“Republika Srpska remains a reliable friend of Israel, and in difficult times friendship is measured not by words, but by deeds,” Dodik said.

With the meeting with Minister Saar, the Republika Srpska delegation, which also included Acting President Ana Trišić Babić, concluded its official multi-day visit to Israel.
