DODIK: PATRIARCH OF JERUSALEM WANTS TO VISIT BANJA LUKA

JERUSALEM, SEPTEMBER 8 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik said that His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem, with whom he met today in Jerusalem, expressed a desire to visit Banja Luka.

"I believe we will organize that visit," Dodik wrote on X.

Dodik said that the Patriarch of Jerusalem conveyed his warm greetings to His Eminence Metropolitan Jefrem of Banja Luka.

"We are united by the Christian Orthodox faith, while the Patriarchate of Jerusalem symbolizes the entire Orthodox world and demonstrates its concern for all Orthodox Christians. Republika Srpska respects this important role and remains committed to preserving our holy sites and Orthodoxy in the Holy Land," Dodik stressed.
