DODIK: NEW YEAR SHOULD BRING SUCCESS AND UNITY

BANJALUKA, JANUARY 13 /SRNA/ – The President of the SNSD Milorad Dodik wished all citizens of Republika Srpska who celebrate the New Year according to the Julian calendar good health and good spirits on this major holiday, and expressed hope that the new year, 2026, will bring them progress and prosperity.

"With the wish for the coming year to be a year of stability, success and unity, I extend my heartfelt congratulations on the Orthodox New Year. Happy and blessed New Year to you," Dodik wrote on the social platform X.

The Serbian, Russian and Georgian Orthodox Churches, as well as Mount Athos and the Jerusalem Patriarchate, which observe the Julian calendar, welcome the New Year at midnight.
