BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 2 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik stated that the constituent session of the Republika Srpska National Assembly should be held on Sunday, November 15.
Dodik added that on Monday, November 16, Serb BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović should assume office.
"Following this, we will seek to restore the position within the Council of Ministers that was in place until 2007, whereby each ministry had two deputy ministers. This would ensure that BiH is visibly represented as a country consisting of two entities and three constituent peoples," Dodik said at a press conference.
He reiterated that relations at the BiH level are complex and exclusionary.
"Partners from the FBiH persistently ignore representatives of Republika Srpska, even though we are offering dialogue. We put forward arguments and focus on what is realistic. We are not opposed to the Dayton Peace Agreement as it is written, but we oppose the way it is interpreted and implemented. That is why we need to return to protecting the Constitution of BiH, which is the best guarantee for BiH," Dodik said.
