BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ - President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that the election of the new Government showed stability of institutions, and the new goals were set that should first of all bring better economic results, such as the increase of the national product /GDP/ in the next five years to BAM 30 billion.

"I wish the ministers successful work and that they achieve their goals. The transfer of the Government was done in the spirit of continuity. We deliberately left this number of ministers from the old government. We show internal stability that we can withstand the process between one government and another. The Government is doing its job," said Dodik at a special session of the Government of Republika Srpska.

He pointed out that the ministers will have to adapt their work to the new circumstances, pointing out that the public is often manipulated by news from those who do not wish the Republika Srpska well.

"The Government is clearly defined as an executive authority by laws and the Constitution. It goes without saying that the Government should be successful and good. The government must be efficient, and to show patience, innovation and a clean-minded policy," said Dodik.

He pointed out that this primarily refers to the improvement of the economic situation, stating that the geopolitical division of the world determines all other processes.

"We have to set goals in the economy to raise our domestic product from the current BAM 19 billion to BAM 30 billion in five years. We have shown that we can raise that amount. The Government is implementing these measures now and, in the future," said Dodik.

He pointed out that a lot can be learned from last year, when there was significant political and economic pressure on Republika Srpska.

"We went through a kind of Golgotha without the possibility to intervene in our financial system. We kept all economic parameters potent. They did not defeat us," said Dodik.
