DODIK: FLIGHT BAN FOR PRIME MINISTER MACUT - ATTACK ON ALL SERBS

MODRIČA, SEPTEMBER 14 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik said that Sarajevo’s decision to ban Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut’s aircraft from flying over BiH represents an attack on all Serbs.

"They in Sarajevo think they have achieved something. They have only driven us further apart," Dodik said in Modriča.

He asked whether political Sarajevo really believes that this unilateral decision will simply be overlooked.

"What are they telling us by this if BiH is a country of three peoples? If Republika Srpska and the Serb people do not support the ban, how can they impose it? This is a matter that must be decided by consensus," Dodik said.

He said that throughout history they had learned that they could achieve dominance through Islamization.

"We do not interfere with anyone. I wish Muslims here all the best, I try to help and do everything that is necessary," Dodik said.

He stressed that Sarajevo is persistently sending messages that Serbs should be obedient and accept their ideas, while constantly accusing them of trying to destroy something.

"All we want is for the Constitution and the Dayton Peace Agreement to be respected," Dodik said.

He stressed that the quiet rapprochement between Republika Srpska and Serbia has been visible in all sectors in recent years.

"That is the result of our policy, and it also includes today’s observance of Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag Day. The flag is not merely a piece of fabric and colors - it is a link to the distant past forged in blood. One colour symbolizes blood, another the sky, and the third freedom," Dodik added.
