DODIK AND CHIKLI ON THE IMPORTANCE OF PRESERVING NATIONAL IDENTITY

TEL AVIV, JANUARY 26 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik spoke with Israeli Minister for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Amichai Chikli about the importance of preserving national identity and the determined fight against hatred in the modern world.

Dodik and Chikli held talks in Jerusalem during a lecture on Jewish philosopher and writer Ze'ev Jabotinsky.

"Meeting with Moshe Levi, a hero of Israel, was a reminder of the strength of an individual who defends his people and his country when it is most needed," Dodik wrote on the social network X.

He added that such individuals are the foundation of every state that seeks to endure.

"Talks with Haim Bibas, Mayor of Modiin and President of the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel, opened space for strengthening cooperation between our local communities and exchanging experiences in urban development and support for families," Dodik stated.

He emphasized that the Republika Srpska and Israel share the values of preserving identity, respecting tradition and the right of peoples to live freely and securely on their own land.

Acting President of the Republika Srpska Ana Trišić Babić and SNSD President Milorad Dodik are on a multi-day official visit to Israel, where they will hold a number of important meetings with Israeli officials.
