JERUSALEM, SEPTEMBER 17 /SRNA/ – Today, in Tel Aviv, President Milorad Dodik met with Israeli Minister for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Amichai Chikli to discuss relations between Republika Srpska and Israel.
Dodik expressed satisfaction with Chikli's recent visit to Banja Luka, saying it had provided an opportunity to discuss further strengthening cooperation.
During the meeting, Dodik informed Chikli that he was due to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu later in the day.
Chikli expressed hope that the issue of establishing air links between Israel and Republika Srpska would be resolved, and noted he had enjoyed Banja Luka during his visit to Republika Srpska.
The Republika Srpska delegation visiting Israel and led by Dodik also includes acting Director of the Office for International Cooperation Ana Trišić Babić and Interior Minister Željko Budimir.
Following his meeting with Chikli, Dodik is scheduled to meet Netanyahu at 3:30 p.m. local time.
