DOBOJ POLICE ADMINISTRATION RECEIVES 35 MORE VEHICLES, KEYS HANDED OVER BY BUDIMIR

DOBOJ, SEPTEMBER 14 /SRNA/ - Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Željko Budimir today handed over the keys to 35 new vehicles for the needs of the Doboj Police Administration, as well as five vehicles to the Gendarmerie Unit, with the aim of improving the work of police officers in the field and increasing efficiency in carrying out daily activities.

"Another seven vehicles will be handed over to the Doboj Police Administration in the coming period," Budimir told reporters in Doboj.

Budimir said that these vehicles are part of a total of 570 vehicles, including 20 motorcycles and quad bikes each, as well as two buggies, which were procured this year for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs /MoI/ of Republika Srpska, thanks to the support of Prime Minister Savo Minić.

The vehicles were received on behalf of the Doboj Police Administration by its head, Slobodan Radinković, who pointed to the importance of the vehicles in improving the police’s operational capabilities.

The handover was also attended by Director of Police of Republika Srpska Siniša Kostrešević.

The Doboj Police Administration received 21 Škoda vehicles, seven Toyota vehicles, five Korando vehicles, one Hyundai and one Volkswagen van.

The Gendarmerie Unit received two Toyota vehicles, two Ford vans and one quad bike.

The keys to the new vehicles were handed over on the plateau near the Sports Games Stadium in Doboj.
