DECISION OF CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF BiH IS ABSOLUTE DEFEAT OF RULE OF LAW AND REFLECTION OF POWERLESSNESS

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 23 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology Bojan Vipotnik told SRNA that the decision adopted today by the incomplete Constitutional Court of BiH represents an absolute defeat of the rule of law, and a reflection of the helplessness of those who should be protecting the constitutional order and the foundations on which a state should be built.

Vipotnik stressed that by taking sides, the incomplete Constitutional Court of BiH has disrupted the balance, which could lead to lasting consequences.

“Fortunately, Republika Srpska is aware of its strength and responsibility, and through the timely reaction of its institutions we have rendered meaningless the attempt by both the Constitutional Court of BiH and hidden centers of power to weaken and undermine our position,” Vipotnik said.

Earlier today, the incomplete Constitutional Court of BiH adopted a decision declaring the previous composition of the Government of Republika Srpska “unconstitutional.”
