CVIJANOVIĆ: SIGNIFICANT AND SUBSTANTIVE TALKS WITH SACHS

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 27 /SRNA/ - Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović said Republika Srpska officials held important and substantive talks in Banja Luka today with Professor Jeffrey Sachs, one of the world's leading economists.

"At a time of global challenges and major geopolitical changes, exchanging views with leading international experts on all key economic and political processes is of exceptional importance," Cvijanović posted on X.

According to her, Republika Srpska remains committed to development, stability and open dialogue with those who understand the importance of preserving constitutional positions and international law.

A meeting between senior Republika Srpska officials and Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs, one of the world's best-known economists, was held today at the Republika Srpska Government headquarters in Banja Luka.

The meeting was attended by Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić, Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović and President Milorad Dodik.

Also present were Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers Srđan Amidžić, Republika Srpska Interior Minister Željko Budimir, acting Director of the Office for International Cooperation Ana Trišić Babić and acting Rector of the University of Banja Luka Ranko Škrbić.
