CVIJANOVIĆ: I AM PROUD OF TRB’S DEVELOPMENT

BRATUNAC, SEPTEMBER 16 /SRNA/ - Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović said today that she is proud of the development of Technical Overhaul Bratunac /TRB/, which, with certain forms of assistance, could become a solid employment base for this area.

During a visit to TRB together with Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić, Cvijanović stressed that work must continue to improve business conditions at the company and to listen to the needs of employees and management.

She recalled that, during her tenure as President of the Republika Srpska Government, measures were taken to give TRB a new lease of life and create conditions for its further development.

"I am here today together with the Prime Minister to talk to the management and leadership of this important factory," Cvijanović said.

She stressed that she is particularly pleased when, during meetings with officials from other countries, she hears praise for products manufactured by TRB.

According to her, there is interest in continuing cooperation with TRB, as well as expanding its range and increasing the quantities of products that could be placed on foreign markets.

"These are recognizable and valued products that have passed all quality tests," Cvijanović said.

She particularly highlighted the importance of production workers, noting that during the visit she also spoke with women working at the plant and performing responsible jobs.

"We believe that, with certain assistance and interventions, this company can represent a solid employment base for the entire area," Cvijanović said.

She also pointed to the challenges faced by businesses in smaller communities, particularly when it comes to securing qualified personnel and retaining them.
