CURRENT BiH IS NEITHER DEMOCRATIC NOR SOVEREIGN

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 5 /SRNA/ - Current BiH is neither democratic nor sovereign, because laws are imposed by an unelected foreigner who has not been confirmed by the United Nations Security Council, legal expert Slavko Mitrović stated.

"An unelected foreigner, not confirmed by the UN Security Council, and without prior appointment by the parties that signed Annex 10 of the Dayton Peace Agreement - which are the two conditions required for having a legal mandate as an assistant to the parties and nothing more," Mitrović wrote in a column for Glas Srpske.

He recalled that, based on such imposed laws, the unconstitutional "judiciary of BiH" is prosecuting democratically elected officials of the Republic of Srpska, particularly President Milorad Dodik.

"He is being punished for respecting the Constitution of the Republic of Srpska, as a party that signed Annex 10," Mitrović stated.

In addition, he noted that the current Central Election Commission /CIK/ was illegally appointed through a joint effort of all Bosniak political parties, as well as the SDS and PDP.

Mitrović reiterated that the mandate of such a CIK was extended by the so-called High Representative Christian Schmidt.

"Imposition as a method of adopting laws is not prescribed by the Constitution of BiH as an international treaty, because under that treaty BiH is `a democratic state that functions in accordance with the rule of law and has free and democratic elections,`" Mitrović wrote.
