ČOVIĆ: WE WILL SEEK TO MOVE BiH FORWARD

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 12 /SRNA/ - HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović said today that his party would work with its partner SNSD to advance all positive processes in BiH.

"The BiH Presidency will probably be in a position to constitute itself within the next 20 days or so, around mid-November," Čović told reporters after a meeting of SNSD and HDZ BiH delegations in Banja Luka.

He added that the current Council of Ministers should already begin the process of adopting the BiH budget so that the new Presidency can put it into procedure.

Čović congratulated SNSD and its candidates on their election results and expressed satisfaction with the strong support HDZ BiH received among Croats in BiH.

"Our goals are internal peace and stability, respect for the Constitution and the constituent status of the three peoples, as well as the European path," Čović said.

He added that issues related to the Election Law and the BiH Central Election Commission /CEC/ should also be addressed jointly.
