BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 3 /SRNA/ - On the occasion of tomorrow’s session of the BiH Constitutional Court, which will decide on an appeal filed by President Milorad Dodik, Kosta Čavoški, a member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts /SANU/, told SRNA that Serbs in BiH should not expect anything positive from that court, nor should they address it.
Čavoški pointed out that Serbs should not recognize any constitutional institution of BiH, as they mostly act on instructions from foreign actors and the illegal High Representative, Christian Schmidt, who was appointed by the self-proclaimed Peace Implementation Council.
"That foreigner /Schmidt/ was appointed by the Peace Implementation Council; therefore, he has no legitimacy whatsoever," Čavoški said.
He stated that the agreements between President Milorad Dodik and the Americans may be positive, but that political consistency must always be taken into account.
"Either Dodik is an opponent of the BiH institutions established contrary to the Dayton Agreement, or he will recognize only the institutions of Republika Srpska; nothing more," Čavoški emphasized.
The Constitutional Court of BiH has scheduled an extraordinary session for tomorrow, at which it is expected to decide on the merits of President Milorad Dodik’s appeal against the verdict of the Court of BiH sentencing him to one year in prison and imposing a six-year ban on political activity for "disrespecting the decisions of Christian Schmidt."
