BUDIMIR: BOBAN WAS NOT ONLY COLLEAGUE, BUT BROTHER

BANJA LUKA, MAY 7 /SRNA/ - Željko Budimir, Minister of the Interior of Republika Srpska, said today that the late head of the Aviation Administration of the Ministry of the Interior Boban Kusturić was to everyone not only a colleague, but also a brother.

"They did the hardest tasks with ease. And he inspired and motivated them. During these forty days, let us pray to God that the Lord grants him clear skies and that he flies with angels," Budimir emphasized at the commemoration on the occasion of Kusturić's death.

In addition to members of the Kusturić family, the commemoration at the Banski Dvor Cultural Centre is being attended by Republika Srpska officials, including Interior Minister Siniša Karan, National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić, Prime Minister Savo Minić, Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, SNSD leader Milorad Dodik, Police Director Siniša Kostrešević, ministers in the Republika Srpska Government, and representatives of public and political life.

Before the start of the commemoration, the highest Republika Srpska officials signed the book of condolences.

Boban Kusturić will be buried today at 14:00 at the Vrbanja City Cemetery in Banja Luka.
