BORAC PLAYED A EUROPEAN MATCH TO BE PROUD OF AND REMEMBERED

BANJA LUKA, JULY 8 /SRNA/ - Borac FC played a European match to be proud of and remembered, the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović said.

"Last night was a football celebration in Banja Luka! Carried by a fantastic atmosphere and thunderous support from the stands, Borac played a European match to be proud of and remembered," Cvijanović said.

Cvijanović said that Borac players showed quality, fighting spirit and character against a highly respected opponent.

"With an excellent performance, they achieved a result that leaves enough room for belief and optimism ahead of the return match in Sofia. We are proud of these boys! We are proud of European Borac!" Cvijanović wrote on X.

Borac tied with Levski Sofia in the first qualifying round of the Champions League.

Last season, Borac won the Premier League BiH title and has returned to Champions League qualifying after a two-year absence.
