ANDRIĆ-FARM LEADER IN BROILER PRODUCTION AND MODEL FOR SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS

PELAGIĆEVO, AUGUST 28 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said that Andrić-Farm, a company from Pelagićevo, is the largest broiler producer in Southeast Europe and a prime example of how a family business can be successfully organized and managed.

“It is enough to say that some eight or nine years ago, the entire Posavina region had a capacity of between 370,000 and 380,000 chickens per production cycle, which is now the capacity of the Andrić family alone,” Minić said after opening a new broiler production facility at the company.

Minić said that the facility features state-of-the-art technology for poultry production, adding that the Andrić family are serious partners to poultry farmers and work with producers across Posavina.

“Over the past four years, we have increased the capacity in a single production cycle in Posavina alone to more than 1.8 million broiler chickens. These figures speak volumes about the development of poultry production in Republika Srpska,” Minić noted.

He stressed that the Andrić family are proof that it is possible to build and develop a successful business in Republika Srpska.

“Forty workers here receive regular salaries, and this is a company that is expanding. In our discussion before this meeting, they announced that they would expand their capacity as early as next year. So I can say that I am extremely satisfied,” Minić said.

He added that he always discusses specific measures related to capital investment, incentives, and everything else that is important for this type of production, noting that the company is a leader in the sector.
