25 YEARS AGO, WORLD SAW FACE OF TERRORISM THAT THE SERB PEOPLE HAD ENCOUNTERED YEARS EARLIER

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said that 25 years ago, the world saw the face of terrorism and evil that the Serb people in this region had encountered years earlier.

Minić said that today we remember with respect the innocent victims of September 11, as well as all our victims.

"While imported mujahideen were brutally killing the Serb population in their ancestral homes in BiH, our warnings were not taken seriously. It took decades for the world to see the scale of that danger," Minić stressed.

According to him, terrorism is evil regardless of where it strikes or who its victims are.

"Every victim deserves the same truth, the same justice and the same respect," Minić wrote on X.

On this day in 2001, terrorist attacks were carried out in the United States, killing around 3,000 people and injuring more than 25,000.

According to official reports, members of Al Qaeda carried out the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center towers in New York and the Pentagon building in Washington using hijacked passenger planes.
