BELGRADE, MARCH 27 /SRNA/ - The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, says that in the remarks to Interpol over the unconstitutional Court of BiH’s request for issuing arrest warrant against Republika Srpska officials, Serbia cited it was a classic political case and that the international arrest warrant should be declared null and void.

Vučić says it will take several days to get a response from Interpol to Serbia's objection regarding the request to issue arrest warrants for the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the Speaker of the National Assembly, Nenad Stevandić.

"Serbia has already acted in accordance with the fact that Dodik and Stevandić are citizens of Serbia... After the reply, we will face either the fact that they reject or accept our request," Vučić told RTS.

He pointed out that his appeal to everyone was that it is necessary to understand how unbearable the situation is to prosecute the president of one entity, the parliament speaker and the prime minister.

"Unfortunately, I'm not sure that everyone heard me, even though they listened to me," said Vučić.

He stated that finding a compromise solution is the only thing possible for both Banja Luka, Sarajevo and the international community.

"If that doesn't happen, we are close to a complete disaster," warned Vučić.

The president of Serbia has assessed there is no will to find a compromise solution for the situation in BiH.

"I don't see a will and I am afraid of a complete disaster, because once Interpol issue red international arrest warrant, there are countless problems we face daily," said Vučić.
