BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 4 /SRNA/ - Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić says he does not mind EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos not coming to Belgrade, but she will not lecture him about who the criminals are, and he will not allow her to humiliate Serbia.
Vučić told the press that he objects to Kos's comments, stating that European officials do not understand how fed up the Serb people is with lies, deceptions, the seizure of territory, punishments imposed only on Serbs, and acquittals for everyone else.
He also pointed to the silence surrounding the funeral of former commander of the so-called Army of BiH Rasim Delić in BiH, which was attended by the entire state leadership of the FBiH, as well as to outbreaks of Nazi madness in an EU member state, such as Croatia.
He has stressed that Kos will not lecture him about who the criminals are and who are not, or about the fact that there are some monsters in Serbia while there are none in Croatia, despite slogan such as "For the Homeland – Ready".
"There is no more monstrous slogan from the Second World War," Vučić said, adding that such phenomena are presented as patriotism in Croatia.
Kos had previously stated that "the glorification followed the death of Ratko Mladić is incompatible with the values on which the path towards the EU is based".
Media reported that Kos was scheduled to visit Belgrade on Wednesday, September 9.
