VUČIĆ: GLASS OBSERVATION DECK WILL CONTRIBUTE TO DEVELOPMENT OF OVČAR-KABLAR REGION

BELGRADE, JULY 30 /SRNA/ - President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić visited the new tourist attraction, the Kablar Glass Observation Deck on Mount Kablar near Čačak, which will further contribute to the development of the Ovčar-Kablar Gorge.

The glass observation deck is located at 879 meters above sea level, just below the peak of Mount Kablar, and aspires to become one of the symbols of western Serbia.

Vučić said that this region, with its ten monasteries, is the Serbian Mount Athos. He added that the Glass Observation Deck can withstand up to 150 tons and can accommodate 800 people.

"This attraction is magnificent, it looks beautiful. I invite all citizens of Serbia to come and see how beautiful Serbia is. This is located just an hour and 20 minutes from Belgrade," emphasized Vučić.

He said that the ticket price for the observation deck will be 500 dinars or 4.5 euros, and that he does not know if there is a more beautiful view than this one, not even the one at Belgrade Waterfront.

Vučić stated that more than 1.2 billion RSD has been invested in this project, and that is excluding the roads.

He added that Serbia is crisscrossed with highways and noted that, once the road to Užice is completed, they will look into building it towards Višegrad as well.

The glass observation deck will be open to visitors from Saturday, August 1. The total area is 1,000 square meters, of which the enclosed area of the visitor center is 200 square meters.

The platforms and staircase cover 92 square meters, the roof area with solar panels is about 48 square meters, and the tourist station with the electrical block is 37 square meters.
