VELJKO MILKOVIĆ'S TWO-STAGE OSCILLATOR THE BEST INVENTION IN THE WORLD

BELGRADE, JUNE 11 /SRNA/ - The two-stage oscillator, an invention by Novi Sad researcher and innovator Veljko Milković, was declared the best in the world at the prestigious international innovation competition Innovation Week Awards organized by the Moroccan company OFEED.

"It is a great honor for me that my invention has been declared the best in the world and that our country can now be proud to be equal in science and technology with the most advanced nations of the world," said Milković.

He stated that this historic success is even greater because the rewarded concept of the oscillator technology is an older one, while in the meantime, a great leap in development has been made and a new concept has been developed that is even better and highly promising.

Among hundreds of innovations, Milković's two-stage oscillator, as a mechanical amplifier of clean energy, stood out as a technology that can solve the problems of the energy crisis and climate challenges.

A statement from the company OFEED says that Milković was awarded the gold medal because the jury rated his invention as the best based on the criteria of originality, usefulness, feasibility, as well as impact and creative potential.

Milković is the author of 120 inventions and around thirty approved patents, and he is one of the most cited independent researchers from this region.

OFEED is a global innovation center founded in 2016, with a mission to connect innovators from around the world through events, platforms, and opportunities that turn ideas into real impact, reports RTV.

The company's headquarters are in Morocco and the US, and the co-organizer is from Singapore.

The award will be formally presented in late August in Singapore.
