BELGRADE, FEBRUARY 2 /SRNA/ – The Head of the Association of Serbs from the Region, Miodrag Linta, says he is not afraid of death threats from Ustasha forces sent through social media as he believes in what he is doing and is sure that it is the right thing.
The Association of Serbs from the Region stated that Ustasha forces are spreading furious hatred, exclusivity, and violence towards Linta because he persistently and consistently fights for the undeniable truth that the pro-Ustasha regime of Franjo Tuđman carried out aggression against Yugoslavia and the Serb people with the aim of creating an ethnically pure Croatian state.
Linta insists that the "Homeland War" in Croatia during the 1990s was an aggressive, criminal war and a continuation of the Ustasha struggle from the time of the NDH /Independent State of Croatia/, and that Serbs from Krajina were forced to defend themselves to prevent a repeat of genocide.
He also points out that the commanders and perpetrators of mass crimes against Serbs have not been held accountable, that Croatia refuses to acknowledge Serb victims, and memorials should be erected at many execution sites where Serb civilians and war prisoners were tortured and killed.
Linta emphasizes that Croatia must return the property and acquired rights to the expelled Serbs, acknowledge that genocide was committed against Serbs during the NDH, and ban concerts by Marko Perković Thompson, who glorifies the criminal NDH regime.
He also states that the salute "For Homelamd-Ready!/Za dom spremni" and the checkerboard flag with the first white square, which was the official emblem of the NDH, are Ustasha symbols that should be banned by special law, and those who use them should be sanctioned with high fines.
Linta points out that Jasenovac, the complex of the Gospić-Jadovno-Pag prison camps, Jastrebarsko, Sisak, and many others were death camps, and that those who deny them, as well as those who glorify the genocidal Ustasha regime, the genocidal NDH, and Ustasha criminals, should be sanctioned.
