KLA TERRORIST ORGANISATION’S SUPPORTERS STONED GOVERNMENT BUILDING IN PRIŠTINA

PRIŠTINA, September 16 /SRNA/ – Supporters of the KLA terrorist organisation pelted the government building of the provisional institutions in Priština with stones, smashing several windows, angered by the convictions of former KLA leaders before the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.

The so-called Kosovo Police formed a cordon and is preventing those gathered from approaching the building.

The demonstrators had previously left the central square, where they had watched the announcement of the verdict, and headed to the EULEX headquarters in Kosovo Polje, where they attempted to break through the fence and enter the premises, but were prevented from doing so by the so-called Kosovo Police.

They threw stones and bottles at the EULEX headquarters, smashed windows, and damaged the fence surrounding the complex.

The court in The Hague today sentenced four former KLA leaders to a combined total of 81 years in prison.

Hashim Thaçi and Jakup Krasniqi were each sentenced to 25 years in prison, Kadri Veseli received a single sentence of 18 years in prison, and Rexhep Selimi was sentenced to 13 years.
