BELGRADE, JULY 16 /SRNA/ - More than 100 French volunteers have visited Kosovo and Metohija over the past two decades, and they have since continued to testify to the truth about the lives of Serbs in the southern Serbian province, said Arnaud Gouillon, founder of the humanitarian organisation "Solidarity for Kosovo."
"By sacrificing their annual holidays, they travelled thousands of kilometres to take part in humanitarian convoys, deliver aid to families, visit Serbian enclaves, schools, monasteries and villages, and speak with the people who live there," Gouillon said.
He added that, after returning home, the French volunteers continued to testify about what they had seen and share the truth about the lives of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.
Gouillon believes it is important for people to come, see and bear witness to what they have experienced, so that the truth about the lives of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija can be heard beyond the borders of Serbia.
In a Facebook post, he explained that the arrival of volunteers as part of the activities organised by "Solidarity for Kosovo" did not represent only material assistance for Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, but also significant moral support, a sign that they are not alone and that there are people in France who think of them.
