BELGRADE, AUGUST 17 /SRNA/ - Darko Mladić, son of General Ratko Mladić, stated that the family fears the general had another stroke in The Hague.

Mladić's son announced to SRNA that he and his mother are preparing to go to The Hague and visit the general on Wednesday, August 19.

"Our lay perspective is that it is possible he had another stroke. We were not told that this happened, and a doctor from Serbia should visit him soon and see what it is about," said Darko Mladić.

He added that he is currently communicating with The Hague to see on which day a doctor from Serbia will examine the general.

"The doctor will probably go to visit him during this week. It seems to us that it was a stroke, and the doctor from Serbia will examine him and say exactly what it is," says Mladić's son.

According to him, the doctors in The Hague only say that his condition has worsened and that he is getting closer to the end.

General Mladić has been in the detention hospital in The Hague since 2024, where he is under palliative care.
