KORENICA, SEPTEMBER 2 /SRNA/ - A 43-year-old man from BiH with temporary residence in Korenica, Croatia, was given a suspended sentence after paying tribute to General Ratko Mladić on social media.
In his posts, he thanked Mladić for freedom, which police said had "caused distress, discomfort and a sense of hurt among citizens."
The Korenica Border Police conducted a criminal investigation into the man, after which he was brought before the court and given a suspended 15-day prison sentence.
The sentence will not be enforced if he does not commit another offence within the next year, Croatian media reported.
