VULIĆ: IVICA PULJIĆ - EXTENDED ARM OF LAGUMDŽIJA AND BEĆIROVIĆ

SARAJEVO, AUGUST 17 /SRNA/ - The Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Sanja Vulić, stated that journalist Ivica Puljić is an extended arm of Denis Bećirović and Zlatko Lagumdžija.

"Ivica Puljić continuously criticizes U.S. President Donald Trump and his peacemaking policies, and it is clear to everyone that he is not speaking solely on his behalf, but that, behind closed doors, his positions are shared by, among others, Bećirović and Lagumdžija.

Of course, for various political reasons, they do not dare to openly and publicly express their positions on the U.S. President, so Puljić has assumed the role of their spokesman," Vulić told SRNA, commenting on Puljić's shameful remarks about Trump, whose policies he called a "moral catastrophe."

Vulić stated that Puljić's appearances on federal media actually represent positions quietly shared behind the scenes by Bećirović and Lagumdžija, as well as many other representatives of Bosniak politics.

"Their calculation is simple: while they maneuver and hide behind diplomatic phrases so as not to jeopardize their positions, Puljić takes it upon himself to say what they think but lack the courage to admit publicly. This creates a misleading impression of so-called independent commentary, even though it is a carefully orchestrated game in which a journalist becomes the spokesman for politicians who fear their voice," Vulić said.

She added that Bećirović and Lagumdžija should finally stop hiding behind Puljić and publicly and loudly present their positions on the U.S. President’s policies.

"Public space deserves sincerity, not political games and hiding behind journalists," Vulić said.

She emphasized that the U.S. President’s policies are based on the pursuit of peace and stability, and this is not some "obsession," as Puljić claims, but a strong vision and proven statesmanship — from historic peace agreements in the Middle East to ending wars that others have waged for decades.

"The American and Russian Presidents, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, each in their own way, remain symbols of statesmen who dared to oppose lies, hypocrisy, and destructive agendas, unlike those politicians who hide behind journalists while pretending to be great politicians," Vulić said.
